Matt Records Song for UCB TV

On Monday our Worship Leader, Matt McChlery went along to UCB Broadcast Centre in Stoke-on-Trent to record a live acoustic version of my song 'Fingerprints' that is off his latest worship EP 'All Things New'. The TV recording was for UCB Watch and is due to be aired on the 'Faith In Action' chat-show programme in the coming months.

We will let you know when the programme will be aired.

Carol Service

On Friday The Ferry Project, The King's Church Wisbech and After Hours Live joined forces to host a fabulously festive carol service. It was originally planned to be an outdoors event, singing carols under the stars, however as the rain was bucketing down the venue was changed to indoors and once again the beautiful Octavia's Cafe was used.

With over 60 people in attendance, the musicians did a fine job playing some Christmas favourites such as 'In The Bleak Midwinter', 'Silent Night' and 'Hark The Herald Angels Sing'. There were some special guests and some surprises too. A couple of extremely talented pupils from the Thomas Clarkson Academy sung some solos, Verity McChlery and Greg Smith sung a lovely duet and the Ferry Project surprised everyone with their choir!

Tasty nibbles and christmas treats were available and enjoyed by all.

Thanks to everyone who participated and to those who came along to enjoy the evening with us. A very special thank you to the Ferry Project for their hard work and fantastic venue.

Have a very merry Christmas!
